    I've got a '94 IDI that I turboed about 4 yrs ago. I'm getting a lot of crankcase pressure and the engine is pushing oil out the dipstick tube where it comes out of the block as well as oil coming out of the discharge side o the turbo. Any suggestions as to where to start?

    If you phone hypermax, talk to Ron or Mike those two guys are very helpful. I phoned them a few times when I installed the pulse turbo kit I got from them. They had no problem answering my questions.

    Look at the sticker on the driver's door. It will tell you the GVW of the truck.That's the weight of the truck and load combined. The weights you're talking about, it sounds to me that you are way over gross.

    Maybe check yhe cables again. I had the same problem and it turned out to be tha cables. They corroded from the inside out.

    If you have a voltmeter check the resistance in each of the glowplugs. Take the voltmeter and set it to ohms, take the wire off the top of each plug and see if there is any resistance. Meter should read 0. The other way is to take the negative battery cables off, make sure they aren't touching...

    injector problem........

    I replaced mine with new Stanadyne injectors. The price was a dollar cheaper each than remans. I got the injectors from GCL. Don,t know if they are in the US, but might be worth checking out.

    We own a 2000 tdi and love it 240,000+k on it and it runs like a top. We get about 60mpg when it was stock. Installed a BULLYDOG RAPIDPOWER and what a difference in performance and mileage. Now getting over 65mpg
