    Heater fan problem?

    A/C

    Just yesterday i went and got the vacum pulled and charged, and for some reason the compressor is not coming on.You can bypass it by directly adding 12v to it, but otherwise it will not come on.When bypassed its blows good cold air, other wise all engine heat.Any advice, any related problems?Thanks

    The only thing for first gens are the weight restictions.Their front ends are not known for their strength..Any advice for beefin up the front end, tie rods, bigger leaf springs? or anything?thanks

    power upgrades?

    Various things ranging from manifolds, intakes, cold air, turbos, exhaust, fuel pump increasing, timing is a big one, they have a couple chips for them, though i wouldnt recomend, expecially if you have a 5 speed.Auto there decent in, still wouldnt recomend one though.Hope this helped

    Turbo wastegate...

    Im about to invest in a new HX35 Or HX40 turbo..Both have a wastegate option..I was wandering if this was better for a turbo, or if it made any differance, or even if you must have one..There several hundred more, but if more effective i might invest in it anyways.Advice anyone?Thanks.

    Haha,As soon as i got it i hacked off the muffler.Sounds alot better too.And what exactly does the upgrade kit consist of?What does it come with?Is it housing?Or the spool?Does it have an oil line conector?

    12v vs. 24v vs. ISB

    Older cummins heads and gaskets are more tend to crack and fail.That is assuming you have the stock head..If your looking at and older 1st gen i would recomend replacing the head gaskets fairly soon.But other than that, like Argave said you can get the same thing out of the engines..But more...

    you can grind the pin down more but i havent done this mod YET. Grind down as in literally..Like a 4" grinder to it? Or mediphorically.Sorry, prob a dumb question, but i need to know.Thanks

    Well alright then.Ill deffenatly look into those more..And another question what size turbo would be best for acceleration speed and boost?I have the stock 21cm2 turbo on it..Fairly slow on starting up.I need something a little more intense.Ideas?
