    Same here, rebuilt the entire front end and still the clunk. I got 3/4 of a turn out of the tranny cross member bolts and that fixed it. Well except for the slap of the leaf springs.(the plastic bushing had given out on a brand new set of springs) stuffed a new one in there and no more noise...

    Well I just got back in town and am looking at doing the work on 'ol gray finally. Is the 5/8" clearance on the bump stops normal? Are new springs needed. I'm drafting up the parts list. more to come.... Thanks for all the help guys!
