    I pulled the bed off my 86 long bed to work on the fuel tanks. In all the discussions concerning bed bolts I understand they have a long square shank. The two middle bolts are like that but the two front and rear have a long double d shank. It's not a mismatch that is what the holes in the bed...

    my water pump is leaking so i thought i'd ask for input from y'all while i wait for it. it looks like getting the fan clutch off without special tools may be a pain. and what about antifreeze? is cavitation a problem on these 6.9l's?

    my 86 has an inside hood latch. i noticed the cable sheathing is missing in some places and the cable is rusty. if the cable broke how could i get the hood open?

    i think this filter has a lot of surface area and would be a good filter before the electric fuel pump i'll be danged if i can find the right canister for it any info appreciated

    i'm trying to work up a parts list and pre-purchase as much as i can before i start new fuel tanks can be had for about $100 each should i clean the old tanks or buy new ones neither of the sending units work should i wait and try to repair the old ones or buy new ones i've only had marginal...
