Today? Today I vacuumed out the truck and have to post it online for sale :/ I have decided to re-enlist and with being on a ship 6 months out the year having the truck just doesn’t make sense. I am a firm believer that the N/A trucks with your basic maintenance will never let you down. Drove my across country twice without any problems. First time I did it I bought it sight unseen off craigslist and took it from Alaska to Jersey without any worries!- Stu Bailey

Yeah that looks like it's kind of tucked away, doesn't even pop up on the map until you zoom in quite a bit. I like those little spots too, State Parks and such are nice every now and then but I prefer to boondock it and have my own little slice of nature as well. I saw what looked like the return line leaking. He doesn’t know where the Teflon washer goes and I told him I think it goes on the HP line inside the pump fitting. There’s a little notched seat in there that looks like it sits there and then the line fitting has the o ring on the male end there...- Stu Bailey

Definitely water pump, oil cooler, and also prep yourself for any after market gauges you may want to install. Getting to some of the plugs on the block can be a real PIA and them plugs sure like to stay out. Would be a lot easier when the engine is out. What did I do with my truck today? I sent him on the tow truck -Down I was finally finished doing all the repairs: new IP, new injectors, water pump, return lines, gauges. BAD NEWS? So after I installed the new pump and injectors, I noticed one of the injectors was leaking. So I took it off and was going to verify a clean chamber and then torque it back down but saw a piece of what looked like rubber in the chamber. Well I got the pickup timed, it’s at 9 BTDC I’d say. Idle speed is about 100 rpm too high, my brakes still suck, OD light still won’t stop blinking after I installed the FIPL, and one of the injectors won’t stop leaking… I can change the idle speed, figure out that FIPL thing, and I’m running...- Stu Bailey

New pump didn’t have any pins through the Allen holes that the adapter fits over. Looks like there was 2 screws on the adapter: 1 actually thread into the IP fitting and locked the adapter in place, and the other was a set screw that just held it in place better. Anyone have experience installing one of these FIPLs? Looks like orientation matters. The adapter has a flat lever that can either go above or below the marks in the FIPL.
