Someone whats this for
The bigger whole behind grommet hole the one i didnt punch in there. What is it. Also should i put more holes in the sheet metal? Got the turbo out cause i had a oil leaj i couldnt find. Grommet waa pushed into the whole. I figure that was my leak- Diesel8873ne

Help!broke down on the highway
Ok truck just starved of fuel was running on the rear tank when it happened, front tank is bone dry atleast it seems by banging on it ,wich i had left roughly 5 gallons in it because my gauge doesnt work. now rear tank is pissing out the top of the filler neck. Intermittent "engine"light

Got the banks kit on.
Just an update on the used banks kit i got and how it went. Took about 10 man hours for me to get the whole kit on, i had to order a few things for the kit like new gasket kit, a ram air housing and filter and a few odds and ends. So guys just looking for some insight. I currently have a 88 f250hd ext cab 2wd still NA. I have the opportunity to pick up a 92 4x4 single cab f350 with a banks sidewinder on it also both trucks have zf5. So my question is assuming i can pick up the 92 for about 1k would you guys do it. 3.55 ls direct swap?
I have a 88 f250 hd with 355 open diff single wheel wondering what year 355 ls axles will fit or what one won't whatever is easier. And if the new axle is single wheel is it a direct swap or doea anything else have to be changed out aswell such as driveshaft ect... Side not guy wants 200 for...- Diesel8873ne

Fuel gauges/shower head filter?
88 f250 7.3 zf5 Hi again so when I first posted on this forum I mentioned my fuel gauge issue . Well ive had the truck a few weeks maybe a month and ive got everything else up to par next is fuel gauges. Zf5 starting in 2nd/floating gears
Okay so title pretty much sais it all, I just recently purchased a 88 f250 7.3 with zf5. I noticed people seem to be fine with starting in second when not on a hill and I'm just curious of everyone thought, it sais right in the owners manual not to start in 2nd.
