What is this,why is it melted

Title sais it all don't know what it is or how much concern i should have ,looks pretty melted to me, also tough to see but one of the pictures is showing a puddle of melted plastic or something below that piece .88 f2502wd 7.3 zf5

That is a relay and it looks a though it's been very HOT. Can't actually tell what it's for but I'm sure somebody else on here will tell you exactly what it's for.

That's for the water in fuel light. Although I have no idea how it would have gotten that hot. It won't affect the engine at all though. My harness was so hacked up I removed mine.
