    But then I am chick stuck with truck and no "reliable mechanic" within reasonable distance at all. Not too many choices here. Lesson learned though, won't let it happen with this shop again. This was a referral from a commercial drive line mechanic from Church. Can't win for losin'!

    Yes, that is exactly where it is pooling. One ex-military 12v mechanic thought it was a leaking injector. The mechanic that did my buyers inspection said it was the return kit. Now this guy says there is air in the lines and the lift pump and a fuel line are bad.

    Hello all, I just purchase this truck a few weeks ago. I am wondering what the general consensus on adding an after market turbo kit. 1. does it add additional strain to the tranny? 2. Is it worth it? 3. Does/can it reduce the overall life of the engine pushing it harder with a turbo?

    They are aftermarket 16.5 x 12.5 x 33s with aggressive tread and are weather worn a bit on the sides. Wouldn't trust them with a load or long distance...I am happy downgrading to a 16" good hauling tire. Better fuel economy anyway.
