antique repower opinions: 6.6 Ford?
I have a ford 6.6 with allison at545 for sale actually...... They don't have an intercoolers. I'd honestly sell the engine for 500 bucks. They are all mechanical so no computers to worry about.- 9073

Lowering an F350 4x4
I put a dana 60 axle on the front of my f-250. At that time we replaced the springs. I went with the highest rated springs for a ford pickup, which was not a one ton diesel, my f-250 had a higher rated capacity springs. I don't remember the exact numbers, but they were significantly higher...- 9073

I think $900.00 is reasonable for both parties, considering cores are worth anywhere from $1250.00-$1500.00. Let me know if you are interested or need more details. 125,000 miles out of 1991 Ford B700 bus. I have some maintenace records for it somwhere. I am pretty sure it is the 170hp model...- 9073

that truck is really nice.................. but... you shouldnt be purposely smoking with the truck, its bad for the environment, it smells, its a waste of fuel... youve probably heard it all before reserve the smoke for heavy loads, or getting back at some jerk driving down the road...- 9073

Big Ed Motor pull party!
i have all the bolt sizes memorized... down to the 8 mm bolt that holds the ground strap to the hood!!! im planning on taking a break from it for a while haha I hope the project goes well with no major accidents or broken parts. Be careful those things are heavy!!! Matt- 9073

welcome!!! cant help you with propane but i can tell you that running a stack out of the hood would be diffucult. if you had a turbo it would be easier, you could also get some turbo uppipes and get something to work i see your in van wert, i used to work at a school bus dealer that sold...- 9073

cant help you with the other questions but the SMF was 575 shipped and was well worth it, it included the pilot bearing, throwout bearing, flywheel, clutch and pressure plate and installation tool i love the feel of that clutch i would do it if i were you, its a better clutch. good luck...- 9073

i never have a party when i pull my engines.... i should and have other people pull the engine for me... ive pulled about 5-6 7.3's and 6.9s out of ford trucks in the last year and a half!! its gettin old good luck i would say have fun but its not that fun of a job matt- 9073

almost bought truck BUT idiot uses starter fluid!!!!
that fitting is for diagnostic purposes. the international air cleaner is bigger, and all 7.3 and 6.9s ran glow plugs regardless of what vehicle they were in matt- 9073

for the amount of money and time you spend looking for the right 44 youd be better off saving up a little more money and just getting a 60 you have a very nice truck from what i can tell, so why not save the extra money and do the job the right way and put a 60 on so you can have the utmost...- 9073
