on the road again

valve problems
Ummm I think I have a problem here. I have exhaust gases coming through the valve spring on the number 5 cylinder. Now that tells me that either the valve spring is broken or the valve is broken. What are the chances it is just a spring? And how do I fix this problem HELP!!!- Dalvaras

I need info
I recently purchased a 7 X 16 tandem axle utility trailer. it has electric brakes on one axle but they are not wired up. Where is a good place to find info on them as this is my first trailer that has had brakes. I am sure the whole brake system will need going through and I am to cheap to pay...- Dalvaras

moment of panic
Thursday morning I go to leave for work. I turn on switch wait for GP's turn to start it rolls over about 1.5 seconds and just stops dead nothing when I turn the switch. Quality time with the old truck

Transmission just quit
My transmission just quit on me on sunday. I was towing my boat back from the lake. Stopped at a stop light on a pretty steep grade, pulled away from the light just fine, topped the hill and the damn thing just quit pulling. latest repairs and mods
Well I made my way here. So this weekend was spent replacing the charging system in the old ragged truck. new altenator and belt , voltage regulator, batteries, and positive battery cable.
