    I dont know if it would be good on an IDI but with direct injection aluminum heads are the best. They are light and surprisingly strong. I mean the duramax has been around since 2001 and still uses aluminum heads. The new 6.7 powerstroke DOES have aluminum heads too. There is a reason for it...

    Ya the fuel screw is in the ip. If you bought it from them I wouldnt adjust the screw until eliminating all other possibilities and talking to them.

    Well guys I figured out where my check ball was.... In the pipe haha. I always thought it was in the block. I was looking at the block and I just kept thinking that there was no way it would stay in the hole as the hole goes all the way into the coolant gallery. Thanks for the input guys. My bad ha.

    I just had my block machined and now the check ball is missing that goes in the hole by the thermostat. Does anyone know where I can get one or what size it is? Also is it just the coolant pipe that holds it in?

    Its a type4 cam but I dont know what the specs are if thats what you are asking? "Type4" russ on here may be able to answer all those questions. And yes they are non-turbo rods and pistons. All balanced.

    Yeah all 8 cylinders are sleeved. The pistons are ceramic coated on the tops. I dont think the crank was turned down, I think it was just polished. I will have to measure of course to make sure.
