Im in the process of installing a factory turbo on my truck and putting a zf back in it in place of the e4od. I have a few questions with this being my first install.
1. The top of the turbo where the oil line mounts Im missing the little bracket where the oil line and mabe the oil pressure...
Thanks for the help I will try that I've been running stanadyne fuel addative, I may not be mixing it strong enough. The pump is fairly new it's a Uhaul pump has less than 5000 miles on it.
I finally have some extra money to replace my turbo that was lost in the mail, on its way to Russ for a makeover. I dont need the whole kit just the turbo and exhaust housing If anyone has one they want to sell. Thanks JHowse
Honestly I thought it was odd that the label was cut off the box, It wasn't torn or drug off and the envelope that had the money order was inside the box. Don't get me wrong Im very pissed to say the least but at this point Im trying to give them the benifit of the doubt.

I packed up my new (used) turbo and sent to typ4 for a rebuild on 12/22 and today when I got home guess what the postman left..... a lost package letter. They returned my shipping label and the money order. who know's where the rest is :mad:. Anyways if any one has a few good pics of a turbo...
Went to turn up my ip pump today, but when I removed the cover plate fuel came gushing out. Im not very knowledgeable about these pumps but this cant be right. Anyone ever seen this?
Well the old truck was hard to start today getting air in the fuel. Found that the line from the fuel filter to the IP was gushing fuel out of the flare nut. After removing the line I found what looked at one time to be some sort of rubber oring or somthing any how its shot and my spare turned...
Went to start my truck this morning truck didnt start, and the starter wouldnt cut off. Could this be happening because of low batteries or the soleniod sticking. I hit the starter with a hammer (that fixed it) and put a battery charger on but i dont need that thing running all the time the...
just an idea, how hard are these motor to pull i was thinking i need to put a new clutch in sure would be easier to work on the motor out of the truck. will the motor pull out the top of the engine compartment. thanks
