Removing belt tensioner
Last weekend my serpentine belt tensioner let go, throwing the belt off in the process. It looks as though the guts of the tensioner have broken, but its still on the truck. 1994 glow plug relay
I have a 94 F-350 7.3 Non turbo IDI. Trying to reconnect a wire to the glow plug relay, I broke a terminal off. Looked it up on advance's website, and ordered part GPR11. Go to town, get it, get home, and the 2 Large terminals are 90 degrees off from where they are on my old one. The 2 Small...- p575

Cracked compression nut on fuel line
I got around to replacing my fuel return lines and glow plugs today. Apparently, somewhere in the process, I must have overtightened the fuel line on the rear passenger side. The compression nut is cracked, and I fear I stripped out the threads on top of the injector. When the truck is...- p575

Here's another newbie question. I've been using a shot of ether to start the truck pretty much since I got it a few years back (its not a daily driver, probably got less than 100 cold starts on it). Leaking fuel onto engine
I have a 94 F-350 with the 7.3 IDI. It has about 265,000 miles on it. It doesn't get ran much, only to haul trash/wood/trailer and such. I noticed the other day that it had some fuel sitting on top of the heads as if the injectors or something in that area was leaking fuel. I don't have a...- p575

dont think my glow plugs are working
i've got a 94 f-350 with the 7.3 IDI, non turbo. when i turn the ignition on, the wait to start light comes on, but i dont get the "clicking" and the amp gauge bouncing like i've seen most fords do. however, the truck usually starts fairly quickly, there have been a few times when it will...- p575
