Last weekend my serpentine belt tensioner let go, throwing the belt off in the process. It looks as though the guts of the tensioner have broken, but its still on the truck. I think I need to take off the large bracket that holds the power steering pump to access whatever holds the tensioner on. I have found 3 bolts for this bracket, and removed 2 of them. The third, is located behind the idler pulley (I think thats what it is, its the pulley below the tensioner that doesn't run anything. I can't get a ratchet and socket onto it due to clearance issues, and a wrench doesn't have room to turn once its on the head of the bolt.
Any suggestions/ideas?
Thanks in advance.
