    7.3 Noob questions

    1. Look at the pcm. But it could have been flash tuned, and there's no real way to know. 2. Pretty sure ford is the only option for the factory style pedal box bushings. There is a upgrade, a search may find it. 3. Most say stay under 1200 sustained when pre turbo. You're probably pretty...

    Old to new parts swap

I believe the tcase will bolt up. But you may have driveshaft length issues. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    GB Remanufacturing valve cover harneses

I haven't heard any good or bad. Dorman used to be junk, but several here have had good success with them lately as well. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    Head spacer plate

Going to mess with too many other things. Intake will have to be machined to fit, possibly custom injector lines, custom length pushrods, etc. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

"A tad more power." LOL are you sure it was a duramax, not a 6.2/6.5? Lol Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Low end torque capability of 7.3 idi vs p7100 cummins 5.9

Iirc, lower rpm + more power = high cylinder pressure. The cummins will handle that better. For either engine, a vgt style turbo will help. Dps turbonator would be my choice. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Why the draw to factory Alcoa dually wheels?

On the rear drw axle, it is narrower than a srw, so probably explains it not looking right... Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Boneheaded mistake. How bad is it?

Pulling freeze plugs will do you no good. It wouldn't go into the cooling system. It would fall to the pan. Turn the engine over by hand. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Boneheaded mistake. How bad is it?

No. Many people have pulled the pan to find several fuel pump pistons. Have you pulled the drain plug and fished a magnet around? Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

The engine doesn't have a limp mode. It can shut down one whole bank of injectors though. Just not the typical limp mode like a gas engine. Gut/delete the cat. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Tps should have smooth voltage increase. Map sensor is the boost reading. Same thing there. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    Source for Motorcraft TPS sensor?

Idle validation switch. Tells the pcm your foot is not on the pedal, and go to idle. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

You will have to do some diagnosing. With having no codes (scan it anyways) I will give a few starting points. Clean the ebp tube and sensor. Look into the map sensor readings. Also look at tps readings. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    Led headlight adjustment

Wasn't sure, so I guessed projector. A proper projector is better for led, hid, and halogen. But, there's many cheap junky leds. You can get better ones, but they aren't cheap. Look at the YouTube videos by headlight revolution. If you don't want to spend that much, I would get some silver...
