    for "head detail 1" you should check the head with a flat bar and feeler gauge set to see how deep that groove is, if it is too deep i dont think a new head gasket will fix it. im not sure what the measurement spec is for it but im sure someone here will know

    i put in new grade 8 bolts and lock washers with antisieze and i got it really tight by doubling up my wrench. the starter engages now so the truck starts. time will tell if it stays tight or not but i am confidant in the starting being good because i have had lots of good luck with napa parts

    everything before the ip is low pressure, correct. the mechanical lift pump probably does not produce alot of psi or gph so why would the facet pump not provide enough fuel?
