    I don't trust electronics, I would rather have the lever. I don't like having to do all the dancing with my feet in order to get the low range engaged. Looks like the easier way to go would be to get a tcase that is designed around the stick.

    ATF in fuel filter

    I think the additives are there for the heat issues of an automatic. Most hydraulic systems don't run that hot. You are correct = it is 10w or 15w hydraulic oil with an additives package.

    I don't know where Smithfield is, but I have your 4x4 parts! F-250 split front axle with your choice of 4.10 or 3.54 gears. Transfer case and C6 trans or transfer case and E4OD trans. I'll throw in the drive shafts, but they are both for an ext cab. Sorry, sold out of the ZF-5's

    Not too much. My projects usually take a year or so. I'm pulling the front axle out of the 93 parts truck and putting it in an 89 split front axle truck.

    I picked up a 93 F-350 as a parts truck with the solid front axle. It has 4.10 gears and I need it to have 3.54 gears. What make / model is this axle?? What are the odds of finding used gears??? Cheapest place to buy non-chinese made gears???

    Knuckledragger and Gearhead4207, Thanx for meeting me in Jan. I had to cancel my March trip due to my mom's chem/radiation appts. The truck with the 351 and a set of 4.10/4.11 gears is next to be disassembled and remaining parts sent to the crucher!!!
