Front axle regear

I picked up a 93 F-350 as a parts truck with the solid front axle. It has 4.10 gears and I need it to have 3.54 gears. What make / model is this axle?? What are the odds of finding used gears??? Cheapest place to buy non-chinese made gears???

If stock, its a Dana 60 using reverse-spiral (aka high-pinion) design ring & pinion. All those F350s came with 3.54 or 4.10 gears, so its a crap shoot. 3.54 was phased one for '99, but has resurfaced again in the later 6.7L diesels.

Spicer (Dana) gears are the obvious choice for new. Authentic Spicer gears are also sold under many different brands.

How much of a hurry are you in? I'm in need of some 4.10 gears for mine and I have 3.55 in it now.

Not too much. My projects usually take a year or so. I'm pulling the front axle out of the 93 parts truck and putting it in an 89 split front axle truck.
