I played swap-a-trailer. I took the empty flat bed back to my garage. I backed up beside the pickup bed trailer and put all of the firewood that was inside it onto the flat bed. Next, I backed that up behind the garage and added another 1 1/2 rows of fire wood on the back to help balance the load out. I keep firewood stacked up against the back of my garage and an planning to paint the garage and the new addition here soon. I figure that the best way to move the fire wood is to put it on a trailer. Finally, I took the pickup bed trailer home to load up the fire wood that's still here. Of course since I say that it won't have to be unloaded any time soon, something will happen to make me have to unload it anyway.

That is one nice truck.

Not that I would ever be riding in a 'smart' car...but I would hate to be in one and have that truck right on my back end....

Serious business...

You have every right to be proud of your truck...it telegraphs...'utility and capability'.

Now I know what kind of truck I want when I grow up....

Have a great rest of the week.

I loaded up the last of the fire wood at my house and tool it over to the garage. There was a little bit more than I thought. I had almost a full load, but I thought there was only 1/2-1/3 of one.

Looks like according to the size of the load you shoud be good for a while...sorry....had to say that...

On the trailer...does it have a name...? I would name it...

787986F1-2-350 because it was put together from three donor trucks...

I feel sorry for the F-350 that is sitting around without any rear springs...

Have you had any toyota trucks mysteriously show up next to where you park 787986F1-2-350....?...lately...?

If that trailer was mine...I would hook up a DC generator to the axle driveshaft flange to power the tail and running lights and the powered cupholder...you know...to keep your coffee warm...?

I need to get back to work..

PFFFT! That's nothing. I have about 5 pickup loads ready to burn, another probably 2 1/2 loads that still need to cure out, and I was just offered some more this evening. I didn't say no and I didn't say yes.

Yes. It's called the pickup bed trailer. There's no F350 sitting around without springs. It's been half gone for almost 20 years. I went with a friend when he bought the truck. He sold the engine to another guy who installed it his truck, drive it for a while, and then bought a "95 PSD. The rear end had a bad bearing in it (the reason my friend bought it cheap) so the springs were given to me for free. Then he turned around and cut off the cab and front clip, made some mounts, and mounted the bed on the front of the frame to make a pickup bed trailer. It looks funny. Kind of like a dually bed on a VW Beetle rear end.

Nope. Never. The neighbor to the west has a Nissan, but that's as close as it gets to a Toyota.

WRONG! I don't drink coffee. I say that I had my first cup when I was 30 and it was going to be at least another 30 before I had my second cup. Well I'm over 2/3 to the second 30, but I'm still no closer to the second cup of coffee.
