    okay thats what i needed to know i was about to order some factory steel wheels and some 255/85 tires but if they were factory lug centric i would just get some 17x8 steel wheels and a more normal sized tire.

    Zf-5 Grinding into 2nd and a little into 3rd.

    My trans was grinding into 2nd and 3rd(not as bad as 2nd) if i shifted too fast. I changed the transmission fluid to 3 quarts of Lucas semi-syn ATF and a quart of oil stabilizer. It still grinds but not quite as bad.. Would I see better results with like mobile 1 ATF? or?? I know the best bet is...

    No transfer case on a 2wd.. I changed it 3 quarts of lucas semi syn ATF and a quart of lucas oil stabilizer filled thru the shifter hole... Shifts perfect now.

    I have a 1994.5(yes zf5), when i check the oil when its running there is a hazey smoke coming from the dipstick/oil cap(when its off).. I assume this is blow by? Truck has 160,000 miles. or is there something else thats causing this.

    I need to change the belt on my 94, I have the 7rib belt but i cant figure out how to work the tensioner, My gas trucks have a place for a 1/2 breaker bar. this one is held on with a torx bolt.. Any help?

    Finally bought a truck!

    I have a 1988 ford ranger (4cyl 5spd) That i drive to work and back.. so this truck is going to be for hauling, towing, Date nights, beach trips ect.. but id like to be able to take it on road trips too virginia and such with out drinking down too much fuel.
