blowby?

I have a 1994.5(yes zf5), when i check the oil when its running there is a hazey smoke coming from the dipstick/oil cap(when its off).. I assume this is blow by? Truck has 160,000 miles. or is there something else thats causing this.

Usually a light stream isn't something to worry about.

A list little blow by is said to be normal on a diesel.

I was once told that if you flip the oil cap over, and it blows it off, it's too much blow by.
