    I’m considering going with an electric pump, but it sounds like quality is hit or miss with those too no matter what pump ya get. I may try one more carter pump since they’re cheap and if that fails I’ll probably go electric

    I put a carter lift pump on my truck about a month before I tore it apart to start swapping the trans. Here I am 3 months later and it turned into a full restoration, but I just got it running last night and noticed an oil leak from the lift pump. Cleaned it off and ran it for longer today...

    I ordered the same piece from deering designs. There’s no option to add the line to your cart on russ’s website anymore. That dorman line had the correct fittings, but didn’t fit the truck, which is strange because its for a 92+ truck. It had too many bends in it to fit and was much longer...

    is the 460 an external slave? The other gassers are internal slave, which is why its different

    Yep. The slave side of the line uses a much larger fitting without a roll pin
