    Did you ever get around to rebuilding your zf5? How did the rebuild kit workout for you? Mine is in desperate need of a rebuild. I can't shift into 3rd without grinding.

    Glad you got it fixed! I think you could have de-pinned the connector instead of cutting the wire.

    Test the brown wire with the headlight switch unplugged. Is there power? Is there resistance between the wire and a ground?

    Is the brown wire open or shorted when you pull the headlight switch?

    You're right I forgot it was powered through the plug. I don't see how it's possible that the brown wire on both sides of the plug (if disconnected) is grounding.

    Does it blow the fuse if the main harness plug at the firewall is unplugged?

    How was the headlight switch plug? It's pretty common for the plug to be melted.

    Hey guys, Has anyone built a custom clutch hydraulic line? I'm having clutch hydraulic issues again and I'd like to replace the plastic line. Russell makes some fittings that converts it to AN that look like they may fit.

    Yeah a lot of people tend to destroy them for swaps. I bought one wrecked for my swap. If the guide pin is stuck you may not be able to pull the fuel pin up and out. I suspect due to it sitting that it is gummed up/stuck.
