Glow plug issue solved
After almost a year of battling a glow plug and timer problem I finally fixed it. Problem was the timer was not working properly, it was coming on and staying on untill it timed out at like 25 secs regardless of temperature. Who's running WMO and on what motor???
I have a book I read through some time ago. "Chilton's Diesel Guide by James Joseph" Copyright 1980. Not sure if you can find it online. The information is on page 91. you'll need a timing light with an advance dial. I have a digital light and it reads the rpm along side the advance numbers. A digital light makes it very nice, if your budget allows pick one up, you won't regret it.- greasemonky

Where did the fuel go?

The ford part # of the Cold Idle Temp Switch is: E8TZ-9E939-A I have seen them on ebay from time to time. Stealership charges 40+ bucks for one. Mine is out so I have mine unplugged. Unless it's really cold I don't see the need in it, looks to me that it will burn more fuel anyway.- greasemonky
