Alright, I have a 1992 7.3 idi, it has a Banks sidewinder turbo on it. It will have blue'ish smoke at idle, but goes away once driving. For instance it will be smoking, and if you take off from a stop light the smoke will be gone about the time or right before you cross the intersection. Anyone...
Whats wrong with the 6.0 turbo or the fuel mileage? The 6.0 normally averages 16-17 in town and 19-21 on the highway. I always thought that was pretty good.
One of my first trucks was a 1995 F250, 460, ext cab, long bed, 2wd. it averaged about 8-9mpg. I think the best I ever averaged through a tank was 11-12. Good truck, but that fuel sure got expensive.
