Airtex rated at 5-7 lbs. Pressure test 5 lbs. Havent removed pre filter. Havent take the mechanical pump but i have by passed it.- crash86

no im not running propane when it dies. Yes ive done a fuel pressure test and everthing is working fine. Running staight diesel and i do leave it in gear and let it coast to die. The e fuel pump is an airtex.- crash86

Yes, it blows white smoke on start up and will puff it out at idle and if I tap the pedal it will be black then white following right behind it. When it dies as I'm driving it will start smoking white real bad, it isnt responsive at all (i can put the pedal to the floor and no response) and then...- crash86

We have by-passed the selector valve, mechanical pump and the water separator is new. We put a new front tank in it to see if that was the problem before we went ahead and switched the rear but the problem happened still.- crash86

We got the injector pump rebuilt this past week put it on, and it still smoked white at idle. We went to test drive it because it only starts dying when it gets warmed up, or at least thats what it seems like, and it took us about the same distance before it stalled out and we had to get pulled...- crash86

We mounted the pump on the frame before the selector valve, we havent tried removing the filter, but we have taken it apart and cleaned it. We installed a new tank as well.- crash86

I dont have the stock water separator on anymore. I suspected that was the problem before so I took it out and put in an after market water separator- crash86
