    I remote mounted one on my truck, I also have a bypass filter. Up to 17qt capacity overall and oil was still really good at 8000 miles when I sent a sample to blackstone. I've still been changing it every 5k miles, but it certainly helps keep the oil cleaner looking so can't hurt the engine...

    Definitely way too slow cranking speed. Idle noise sounds good me they are always loud if it's cold out and the timing is good. Might be idling a bit slow too.

    Took some life away from my starter today

    I got annoyed with one of my idi starters when it got stuck on I couldn't get the battery cables off and rather than melting things for some reason I just stuck the truck in 4th gear, let the clutch out, and held the brakes and broke it. I'm not sure why I did that to this day. It did work though.
