DIESEL DOWN!! In Aberdeen WA
My folks truck is stuck in Aberdeen WA after the truck grinded/knocked/ and squealed to a stop. Engine seems to be ok but transmission might be smoked 1993 f250 4x4 zf5- Blsford

Not sure why this "performance" concept is so hard for a couple of you guys to comprehend...in a thread regarding performance, there is NO other alternative to R&D...moose may have a great quality reputation here but severely lacks in the performance aspect. I have an intake, that's it. Not negative whatsoever, just don't feel he offers any idi higher performance parts. When ever I see these threads regarding that topic, moose stuff always seems to be number one recommended...witch I agree with, great quality stock level rebuild parts. But nowhere...- Blsford

IMHO r and d idi PERFORMANCE is the way to go if your looking for PERFORMANCE. While Russ and mel may sell a good product, the PERFORMANCE aspect is still lacking. Sure, everyone wonders how long those pumps will last, but as of now I haven't read any problems. Please correct me if I've missed...- Blsford

E-pump cause hard start?
Only reason I went with the optimas is because a buddy's friend works with them. Got me a deal for 70$ each...both my batteries are on drivers side, will the group 31s fit there? Edit: 21* out and with epump fuse out seemed to fire right up.- Blsford

E-pump cause hard start?
Pump has been on for around 2 months, it's the facet dura lift and is pretty noisy with power on with engine off.. I might pop the fuse out and see how it cranks with that off then put it back on as it starts. Not sure how to check amp draw- Blsford

Had the same issue with the batteries I had before the optimas. And those batteries were just fine before that epump...that's why I'm so confused- Blsford

E-pump cause hard start?
I have a E-pump hooked up, but when I hit the GP switch my voltmeter dumps hard. I have 2 new (reman) optima red tops, new cables, new starter as of today. Never had this issue without the e pump. Makes it so if it doesn't start within first few spins then the batteries sound weak and the pump...- Blsford
