Injector line nut leak
Well you are right about needing a new hard line, but instead of it cracking somewhere on the line itself, the whole little knob on the end that seats on the injector broke off completely. Luckily it’s the cyl 6 injector line which is probably the easiest to access without taking the pump out.- bevtis

just got back from a 600 mile trip in my 6.9 idi turbo. At the very end, I stopped at a stop sign and noticed lopey sounding idle and reduced power. Turbo oil feed
Tried my best to get it out with heat, hammer and chisel, vise grips, socket extractors, etc. could not get it out for the life of me, ended up taking turbo off and buying a straight an fitting to pull oil from the factory oil sender unit location. That might’ve worked in the beginning, but now it’s pretty rounded. But it is taking so much torque to try and get it loose, and I don’t think it really should be this hard to remove. The one thing that I can think of to try that I haven’t yet is heat.- bevtis

It’s the one that they say to undo in the banks installation kit, I suppose I could be trying to get the wrong plug out but I doubt it. I will attach pictures tomorrow, but it’s the oil galley plug above and to the rear of the filter close to the transmission.- bevtis

Turbo oil feed
In the process of Installing a banks turbo kit, and cannot get the plug for the oil feed out. Any tips on what to try to get it out? Also maybe there’s another location to draw oil from? I think other kits have drawn oil from the oil pressure sender spot, but I already have the the turbo kit...- bevtis

C6 trans temp?
It has been a while since I’ve been on here, but I’ve done a lot since I last posted. I put a big Hayden transmission cooler on, new lines with AN fittings, and I routed the lines the way they are supposed to be. Now the temps don’t get past 160-170 when driving at highway speeds for extended...- bevtis

C6 trans temp?
The gauge stays in the center, so it should be running cool. With the stock radiator it would get warm, so I put in a mishimoto radiator.- bevtis

C6 trans temp?
Anybody have an idea of what the ideal temperature should be for a c6? Mine gets to about 220* going about 65-70 mph for a long period of time. Is this normal? My sensor is in the pan, which is a aftermarket deeper b&m pan. Truck is a 6.9 idi with 4.10 gears.- bevtis
