93 f-350 idi SRW Rear seal woes. This thing is eating my lunch!
After 3 tries getting the correct part, I destroyed it trying to install. It appears to be a 3 piece design with a collar, wiper, and stamped ring. 99 psd f-350 vacuum hose
Hi Friends. Help! I'm replacing glowplugs and gaskets/harnesses to see if I can make this thing start better and run better. I noticed two vacuum hoses coming from a module on top of the engine. WHOAAA DADDY! New Injectors = new truck
Just put a set of new BB injectors in. I've had truck for 5 years and have no previous service history. The old ones were Italian Stanadynes and looked pretty charry-gunked up. Hi. I am going nuts on this one. 1996 E-350 Club Wagon won't crank. I can bypass the solenoid up on the core support by the battery with a screwdriver and it fires right up (of course, with ignition switch in "run" position - this is a 5.8 gasser). Water Pump area coolant leak 93 IDI
Hi -Is there a weakness on the water pump area sealing on these old IDI's? My truck leaks water from around the water pump area and I can't see exactly where it is coming from. It is a big job, but I guess I have to just start pulling parts. Any experience like this?? --ANdy- Andrew M. Frankli

Who can rebuild my injectors?
I want to have my injectors rebuilt - They are original to my truck and I would just as soon have them rebuilt rather than getting someone's else rebuilt injectors. Caterpillar 880 cca batterys junk in 1 year?!
Well, I sprang for genuine Caterpillar batteries p/n 230636x last July (2009) after reading on this forum that there IS a difference... $115.00 each - no big deal, well... It is intermittent within the same drive cycle. I assume if the stalk light is not flashing, there are no codes. I will try to pull them anyway. Does it wet or dry, warm or cold. Starting My A/C conversion to R-134A
My experience is the same as oldbull8 except for one thing: 20 degrees is what I would consider the MINIMUM differential between air temp @condensor and evaporator. I routinely get 30-35 degrees differential on healthy older 134a systems.- Andrew M. Frankli

Just out of nowhere my trans seems to have difficulty accelerating in "D" selector position. It feels like it is trying to start out in 2nd (or maybe even 3rd) gear. Doesn't really pull until rev's are around 2000, then labors to accelerate. If I manually put it into "1", it accelerates...- Andrew M. Frankli

Cat Batts I went through two Interstates and two other name brand batteries in my truck. Only got a couple years out of each set. So last year I popped for Genuine Caterpillar '31's (recommended by several on this site.) So far I am happy - though my truck sits for several days at a time...- Andrew M. Frankli
