Granted I haven't done an IC install on either bodystyle (yet :sly ), I've always been under the impression that it's easier to install an IC on an OBS front end. You have more space between the front of the core support and the back of the grille, whereas on a bricknose, it's a very tight fit if you plan to keep the a/c condenser.

So, why is it easier to install an IC on a bricknose?

Another advantage to the OBS front clip is that you have more options for headlight upgrades.

Someone needs to make some of those Aussie light bezels, then your lighting options would expand (I think those use the same style lights the slantnose use).

And so have I. Big Bad @FORDF250HDXLT has OBS trucks and has IC install threads on them somewhere. He makes it sound easy (course, what does he know LOL).

i was a bit hesitant about it too but once i just started in doing it,it was super fun and enjoyable.very straight forward.it's nothing to be afraid of.;Sweet

as for pro's and con's of brick or obs.........there are no cons to a 9th gen ford.:D
not that im biased or anything.;)

Headlight options are way better for an OBS.

Also, the intercooler thing, it was very easy to mount behind the grill. Just took out the vertical support in the center, and trimmed a little plastic off the grille, and it fit well, even in front of my ac condenser.

I found the ultimate bricknose replacements about a month back in a search (I kept the page open and spent about 3 days off-and-on)
I can't remember the brand or anything anymore, other than they were WAY outta my price range, found them by going by lens dimensions, advertised as for jeeps but listed as fitting our trucks as well
LED projectors with heated lenses that popped on with a thermostat at temps under 40*F to combat icing, $450 EACH cookoo IIRC
they were on one of the auto-something.coms that pop up when using your google-fu
