NO. the only way to use one key to work the door and ignition is to match the tumbles in the door locks to match your ignition key

I just really want to only have one key.
Ok simple really simple to do. As long as both keys physically fit into the door and ignition this is a really simple fix. Trust me I have done this 3 times and it works.
Cut one key with one complete side as the door, then have the key cutter person flip the blank over and cut the ignition side into the other half of the blank.
All you need to do is try the key one way for door, flip it for IGN! I just filed some grooves on the key ring end on one side so I knew which way I used it for Door or Ign.
The only time this cannot work is when you have the two opposite keys looking at the end.
Some Doors or glove box keys are different or trunk keys for cars oppositely made looking at the end.
Try this for the price of a key cut and see how easy and well it works!!!!
