Screw you guys and your fancy XLT packages! And your fully attached door panels..... and dash heater vents...

I'm gonna cry myself to sleep now, on my cold vinyl truck floor. And let the cold air entering from my rusted cab corners freeze my eyelids shut.

It's purdy, but just somethin' about Lariats back in the day when it wasn't an option of every fourth truck.

All hail King Lariat!

mine's a Lariat too. the original owner ordered it without power windows and locks.cookoo the Lariat badges both disappeared on the same day:backoff so i filled the holes and painted over it.

rangerwreck if it makes you feel any better none of the XLT stuff works anymore. no a/c or cruise or dual tanks or intermittent wipers. i do plan to fix the cruise and the wipers and maybe reinstall the front fuel tank one of these days.

Nothing like rubbing it in a little.

That's one reason I chose the higher mile Lariat LE over a lower mile Lariat, kinda on the rare side.

Your old Bronco reminds me of what my dad used to ask me when I bought a truck....was always 2 simple questions
  1. does it have chrome bumpers
  2. is it a Lariat
The Lariat used to hold a very special place in the truck market.;Sweet Nice looking Bronco speedster

I've seen a couple trucks done with bedliner in the cab and it looked good done right.

Don't feel too bad. My 1st Ford truck was an '82 F150 Custom no ac carpet or anything, my 3rd was a '76 F100 Custom that I got for free and then gave it back to him over a year later.... manual brakes, steering and a 3 on the tree no ac radio nothing...truck still is running down the road to this day

That makes me feel much better! Damn that thing has got to be LOUD.

Heh, I can't wait to get some pics of my beast up here for braggin' rights. In a university residence parking lot filled with shiny new compact cars, one big loud smelly, ugly as sin IDI flatdeck stands alone. :rotflmao

Cold this morning! Below 10, which is cold for around here. I know that's probably summer time for some of you eskimo types. However, when you can barely get the key to turn in the ignition from the grease thickening up, I don't care what your driving. If it lights off right away, your taking care of it. The Moosestang has impressed the heck out of me since I built it, having cobbled it together with a bunch of unknown parts, it has been solid reliable. ;Sweet
