Same problem in my 1993 F-350
Bought\n New injector pump and new injectors hasn't ran right since\n Found reputable diesel mechanic in Fort Payne taking it Friday ,tomorrow. Have him pop test. My injectors to see if new pump is bad or new injectors are bad one step at a time.

Did you time the new pump? A new Injection pump may run great out of the box however most of the time they will not. And they all need to be timed properly to run right. The old marks or base timing have nothing to do with a properly timed new ip and injectors. Also your old lift pump may or may not keep up with your new IP. Gauges can be added under the hood or at the dash.

Unfortunately, I got the pump. From Pensacola diesel, while I was down in Panama City, the problem I have\n Too much fuel, dumping, plenty of white smoke. Pretty sure I have injector problems. I have advanced the timing, the thickness of a dime.\n S**** smoked slowed down after warm up.\n First, start up no more mosquitoes.\n So I'm gonna have them pop tested tomorrow. And go from there
I was turned on to a good mechanic north of Fort Payne.\n With a good reputation, the only one in my area with the tools to pressure test my injectors.\n My truck's been parked for about 6 months. I don't want to overheat that piston and put a hole in it.
