bump.....I am still trying to figure out wheels and tires for my truck. I am thinking that I want 16x10 wheels but most of what I am finding are 16x8. The tires I have been looking at 35x12.50 I am not sure how well they would fit on an 8" rim, I am thinking they would look balooned out. Any more pictures or input is appreciated.

16x10's are very easy to come by, but a 12.50 on an 8" wheel isn't bad either...
I'm running my 44x18 Boggers on an 8.25" wheel... Mainly because I had them, and even that doesn't look bad.
But for 16x10's, have a look here: http://www.summitracing.com/search/.../Wheel-Bolt-Pattern/8-x-6-1-2-in/?Ns=Rank|Asc

that is the exact same search I did on their site last night, but thanks for the link. I curious to see how different size tires (285/75,305/70, 315/75, 33's and 35's) fit on differnt width wheels.

For you guys that say you needed to move or cut your bumper with the 285-75R-16 ....... Are you running any kind of lift kit or add-a-leaf on the front of the vehicle ?? The reason I ask is because some members running these exact same tires say they didn't make any mods to the front bumper and others said they had to cut or move the front bumper out??? :dunno

I just realized that my original post in this thread was incorrect: I had a 1.5" add a leaf in the front of my truck.

Does anyone own a dually with aftermarked wheels? My 350 is hungry for 235's, and I'm looking at cheap-ish tires. I can't afford to go full Alcoa's, as I've spec'd them with tires to over $3k

my truck has 235's

Is anyone running a dually with 255 85 16's????

I think factory 4x4 dually wheels are different from 2wd factory dually wheels, like theres a larger space inbetween them on the rear axle

anyone know if the 255's would rub on the rear? when I get tires I want to try the 255's mentioned above

I had 255s on my 4wd superduty and they were close together. If the 2wd have less Backspacing than a 4wd they will touch

Csgod0 look up AMERICAN EAGLE wheels. they make Alcoa look alikes for about 140 a wheel, and youc an only run 4 not all 6
