The Quigley vans are the ****, they are pricey but pretty awesome if you got a big crew.
saw an 02 9 passenger van today, 7.3, 4R100, with 08 axles under it..
was pretty damn sweet. makes me wanna buy a 2 wd drive van and convert it...
guess i should take my NP205 off craigslist lol

If you don't extend the frame, will the rear portion of the "new" cab hit the kick-up in the frame? Will you have to cut out the floor and let the frame come up through? Or use a body lift?

as i looked at this with the bed off last week, the mounting points for the new cab only raises 1" where the back of the new cab mounts will be.
it will not extend where there is a substansial increase in elevation on the frame. will be using an aftermarket body mount. not much fab work required.
again this is all theroretical, i will have detailed pics when we get on this.

i may have to cut up one of the extra beds i have to make the wheel well look stock ish.
i want it to look as clean as it can

;Poke My question is what's a ford guy doing with a fireturd LOL....

Dusts hands off, that fireturd, pittiful excuse for a T/A, looking like a camaro with body mods and called a poncho,
sold lastnight.
the only thing about that car was that it would hit 140 mph very quick.

now i have all real Ponchos!
sorry off topic, but you ppl really really got me thinking of buying a van...
going to look at this today

we got the truck stripped cut, and added on the extra CC doors.
it went like clock work! i think we drank more than we worked!
all 6 doors open and close with factory gap. structure is solid.
i was supposed to do rear body mounts tonight, but im pretty drunk.
ill get up at the ass crack of dawn and get them done before the guys show up in the morning @ 9am.
body lines look killer.
had to cut the entire floor out due to the frame raise in elevation. to the naked eye, it looked ok, but the real world smacked us in the face.
only had 2 others show up today. tomorrow will be 5 but more of a BBQ and get the roof tach'd together.
these guys are confident we can get the roof done without it looking like ****.
we will see what tomorrow brings.

thats pretty rad Calvin!
i dont know why, but i have a major dislike for the extended cab.
with what i saw today, this mod is really easy, if you know how to fab.
and i couldnt have done it without the help of my friends.
the best thing of it all, the 3 of us were like 10 year olds at an amusement park for the first time.
ALOT OF FUN!

Rear body mounts are done, I still need to piece the floor together.
I nex to figure out where the filler neck is gonna go, but Roof is in place. Went together about as good as it could
It's got a weld about every 1", I'll be finish welding this week.

Looks great! I would make sure I had a trap door over that fuel sender! Keep bringing the pics!

im even thinking about a door to acess the FSV too. would make it much easier to get to the top fuel lines.
i need to replace it neways!
still baffeled on what to do to the fuel fill, thought maybe i should run it next to the rear fill tank, since i am going to cut the bed down to 5 feet.
