    Lol yeah i got the hint. I am nkt close to needing a rebuild yet but was curious, since im rebuilding both axles and putting a new tranny in if i could do an inframe. Ive done in frames on my semis before, but those are easy.

    Need to do head gaskets, and was wondering if you can re ring (piston rings, maybe main bearing, all new gaskets etc) in frame? I dont have a cherry picker or stand to pull the engine, and dont want to buy them as its not that important. 1990 7.3, rajay turbo. Thoughts? Do’s and donts?

    anyone here know how to fix slop in the clutch? I have roughly 8 inches of travel, 4 of which is all slop. Having a hard time engaging gears so im assuming this might be part of the problem. I Ordered the heim joint fix. Anyother stuff to look for?

    I have a haynes but you have to get the diesel tech book as well as the one for the truvk it self, mine covers 6.5 and 6.5 chevys, 6.9 amd 7.3 idis as well as obs 7.3 powerstrokes.

    Thank you guys. Now, i am taking a look at idiperformance, he has stock and also stage 1 injectors. What difference am i looking at here? Im more than likely going with stock anyway so it prolly doesnt matter

    On the passanger side of your engine below your vac pump (which is directly below your alternator) is your lift pump, that brings fuel up to 3-4 psi, through your fuel filter up to your injection pump, check that for leaks. Youll see a metal line comming up to your filter, And a rubber line...

    I finagled a rajay 300 onto my 7.3 idi, before i start it my question is, 1. Should i pour some oil into my turbo feed line and into the turbo it self fo i dont burn up my seals before oil makes its way there? Also, my oil return line is about level if not slighly higher going into my valve...

    When i back up what sounds like my rear passanger tire area squeaks, and occasionally does it when i take off going forward.. U joint going out? Any other ideas? Sounds stupid but it sounds like the squeak is "rotating" with my tire....

    I got a piece lf 12 inch plate steel.. Same length as my bed, width is the narrowest part between wheel wells. Beauty of that is it doesnt take any room. Granted i have a 4x4 but i like the extra traction when plowing.

    hahahhaha i actually live on a farm and pave roads for a living, buuut i do spend alot of time in the woods. True about the daylight.. Only 6 hours at the moment.

    Got a crack in my rubber line comming into my left pump. Me being a noob i am took it off the wrap it in electrical tape to get me home and sucessfully messed the hose up beyond repair, and naturally the fuel line i have in my truck is the wrong size, but i have a couple feet of sylicone heater...

    Whelp i feel like a idiot for going 2 winters with a crap heater, all it was was my door by the heater core... The line going to it i guess got stretched out and wasnt shutting it all the way, adjusted the cable, and now i just about burn up in the cab. Now to fix my fuel returnline leak...

    Thanks guys! Another question. I pulled my thermostat and there was a copper ring that came off when i pulled it out, (and the ring was cracked, lol) does that go back on my new thermostat? Thr new motorcraft doesnt come with onr..
