zf 5 speed questions

will a zf 5speed bolt up to a gas 360 motor?

Probably not, if the 360 is the same engine series as the 352,390,428.

I'd think a Gas one would but I honestly dont know for sure. I know all the older 360 bell housings would interchange with 428s in cars so I'd think the newer gas ZF would be the same.

I dont think theres a ZF made with a bellhousing that matches the pattern of that engine family, I think there's a ZF patter for small block, big block and diesel. None of which match a 360...at least thats what I think.

there was no 360/390 in production when the zf came out, so I doubt it would work.

better off with a nv4500 and adaptor.

check advance adaptors and novak...they may have something...it'd be sweet if they did.

No, not to an FE. If you get a 460 tranny, you could bolt to a 351M or 400, but otherwise only a small block or diesel.
