Hey guys I pulled my glow plug harness this afternoon in prep for new plugs. I noticed a broken wire coming connected to passenger side front of the harness. I followed it down and it seems to be attached to the hard line coming off the front of the fuel filter mount somehow. There is a metal sleeve around the hard line and the wire goes up into it. What is this wire? It looks to have been broken for some time. Thanks.

Thanks Wicked. I figured it couldn't be too important since the truck has been running decent. Would it be worth it to just put a new wire in, it can get a little chilly here in WA.

Is this a 6.9?
With today's fuels, you "shouldn't" have to worry about gelling.

I think you can test it using a ohmmeter. If it's good, hook er up.

Today's fuels gel just as bad as yesterdays fuels did.
Hook it up if you want. It certainly doesn't hurt.
