White smoke at startup

I get a bit of white smoke at startup and throttle hesitation when you hit the throttle. Therefore, I'm thinking my timing is out of wack. As far as I know, the IP hasn't been messed with, not by me anyways. Is my assumption correct? If so, my buddy mentioned that someone on here in Florida said they would offer their time to do a static time on his truck. i was wondering if someone here and in Florida could extend that offer to me. one of those, might as well just to make sure deals ya know? Anyways, if anyone has any thoughts on that white puff...feel more than free to bust my balls about it. Thanks fellas!

Retarded timing will cause white smoke but I cannot see it causing throttle hesitation. Air in fuel will cause both white smoke and throttle hesitation though.

I got my air problem taken care off when I swapped out a junk Number 7 injector and don't have any startup issues. The hesitation may be nothing but I was thinking the white smoke was retarded timing fer sure. Thanks for your input man.

I'd second air intrusion, might want to check all of the lines again. The fuel seperator is known for leaking too IIRC. so its not always a leak at the injectors.

Mine smokes good at startup and then runs rough until I give it a small amount of pedal and time.

Guess I will have to check it again. A buddy of mine Biggin92 is drivin it while he is doin body work on his and preppin it for paint....

No one in Florida can do a static time for me? Paid of course.....
