I used to be a huge mud guy (Im from florida) Then I started going to Rausch creek offroad park and hitting the rocks, I fell in love with rocks and hated the mud.

Those pictures look alot like one of the trial in Rausch creek.

I have my XJ as a trailer queen now and the truck is a tow pig.

This was from the retirement run for my jeep, It is now being chopped up and built into a Rock Racing buggy.

I thought that looked familiar I have been on that trail with my jeep, Granted it was hard going the whole way and required my ass to get winched out 2 times but I made it through w/o breaking.

I dont go with my jeep but I should be at the RCRocs race tomorrow.

The turbo chop I heard sounded like just like the chop from my cummins when it would drive by at low rpms, are you sure it's going out....

them boys in Central America are using snow chains in the mud.... last time I did that I got the garden tractor stuck in the mud hole in the field (had to be there it was a boring spring and I had some free time on my hands).... But I will say the garden tractor made it pretty far in with the chains.... they actually work pretty well in the mucky stuff...

I had a 1971 ford LGT 120 that I used as a racing/pulling/mudding/mobile workshop tractor, I sold it to my buddy not to long ago to fuel my jeep addiction.

Mine wasn't for pulling or racing... see I grew up on the farm with Dad running a side biz of Sales and services for new and used lawn equipment.... Dad had 3 full time jobs.... 1 real go to work job and two home grown.... Well I got as a kid a garden tractor for plowing the snow (bought it with my own money saved) and I would ride it around during the non snow season - me and my buddies... well I put the chains on it and decided it would be cool to go mudding.... working out really well.... even when pulling the trailer behind it with a lazy boy strapped to it and my buddy giggling like a little girl while trying to dodge the clumps of mud being tossed in his face.... yes I was a redneck.....

turbo also sounds like the turbos on the psd my cousin has a 99 just has 3.5 straight pipe aand it sounds wicked

Nice. It sounds like we are pretty similar, I had a golf cart that I used to take through the mud pits and the people in the utility bed would always get covered in mud. Golf carts are fun to mess around with.

buddy of mine has a golf cart that he keeps at the campground and he takes it out in the woods behind the campground and goes mudding.... well one evening when he had a little too much to drink he and the girly friend got it stuck - boy she was po'd at him.... he got out and started pushing while she was driving then once it was free..... she left him..... she stopped by every camp site on the way back to tell them what happened and when he came trudging back everyone was commenting and laughing.... she banned him from the golf cart for a week - took the keys.... lol....

yea thats not an idi. what idi blows smoke like that with such low throttle? and you can hear the knock of a psd. plus the turbo/exhaust sound is a dead giveaway.

its still cool nonetheless.

It sounds like an IDI with a belt squeal to me. Mine sounds the same if I hammer the throttle because my water pump is on its way out.
