Sorry for not being around much, truck has kept making my wonder whether or not I was gonna get rid of it... I kept it... hoping to put the turbo kit on something this month.

Currently my brother is in the process of tyring to get to my wheel bearings to look at them and/or replace them. I am no longer able to physically view the truck as I moved, but to keep on subject....

Could anyone explain, in great detail if possible, how to access the front wheel bearings for my 93 f250 4x4?

thanks all.

(tried searching wheel bearing removal but got 25 pages of hits that had nothing to do with it)

Pull the wheel off
Pull the caliper off
Unbolt the 4wd hub(make sure you know where everything is in relation)
Remove the round clip that clips into the inside diameter of the rotor hub
Pull the hub guts out (The bolts that hold the external part of the hub on can help to Pull the guts out if you're having issues)
Pull the c-clip off that is around the axle shaft
Remove the hub retaining nut from the spindle
VOILA!
IIRC the nut removal socket will depend on if you have manual or automatic hubs....

Someone please correct me if my memory is caput.

Alright, thanks, that tells me where my brother hit the ??? doing the job. Where are the bolts for the 4WD hub? He figured there would be a single one in the middle but there isn't.
