You’ll wonder why you didn’t do it sooner.
You will be happy to know that you are 100% correct.
The baby swamps and hydra turned my old flatbed farm truck into an absolute beast. Only thing I'm not too fond of is any setting on my hydra will blow black smoke until the turbo spools. The light towing tune seems to be the least smokey, even compared to the fuel sipper tune.
That’s great. It is amazing isn’t it. Are you using the canned tunes or did you buy one for the baby swamp injectors? Did you get your intercooler in?
I bought swamps "340" package so I got the hydra and 6 swamps tunes for an extra $400. I only had enough time monday day for the injectors and chip. Wasn't a terrible job, I started around 7 am, took a break from 11-12 waiting on injector arrivals and was done about 5. Did a test drive, latched the trailer on and hauled home a parts VW golf.
I need to gather up some parts for the intercooler, like the pipes and hoses. That project will coincide with a front bumper build.
I have one dedicated test route that involves pulling out in the middle of a 4 lane road on a steep grade. When I first put the PSD in the truck I could have 75-80 mph by my land marker about 1.5 miles away. (The 6.9 turbo had 65). On the Daily driver tune I had 90 about half way to my landmark and backed out of it. A am truly impressed with the improvement.

That’s what I’m thinking.
Now that you’ve driven your combination for a bit, what do you think?
