weird filler neck question

When I blow into the vent tube fuel comes back out the filler neck.
Is that normal.
I can't get fuel into the front tank so I have cleaned the vent, removed the metal neck to check the inner hose to make sure it wasent dislodged...

Any time air is injected into the tank it replaces the fuel, the fuel has to go someplace, namely out the filler tube. Five lbs air Max into the tank only.

Alright. Just thought it was strange as the tank only has a gallon of fuel in it...

Popped out the vent and turns out the tank is full.... must.be the sending unit broken cause the gauges reads empty.

Lemme know when you find a fuel gauge for that badboy reasonably priced. Lol

I've had two go and it was only the float not the sender. I can remove the sender with the front tank still in place if it's the front tank. Just replace the brass float snaps right in. Or atleast remove it and actuate it to see if the sender is bad. Good time to inspect the foot valve too
