I found a supplier for the 1 3/4" head nylon retainers that hold the insulation on the underside of our hoods. This is good for me, because they seem to break off at irregular but constant intervals.

The stealership wants $1.70 each for them

This place sold me 2 boxes of 25, first class mailed to me for $26.10.

They have about any clip or retainer you can imagine, including the little dodads that hold the door panels onto the doors (you just can't reuse them and expect the panel to stay - I've tried). They also have screws and all sorts of other stuff. I ordered yesterday online and got the package today. Helps that they are only 20 miles away from me.

There is also a feature that can find your part if you know the Ford part number, very helpful.

Very cool, thank you for the link!! ;Sweet

Does anyone know what the Ford part numbers are for the various clips, retainers, fasteners, etc? I don't know offhand, unfortunately, but it seems to me it'd be nice to put this URL and the various part numbers in the Parts Bin ;Sweet

I have the part numbers for a few of the clips and retainers I had to buy from Ford, will round them up and post here.
