Has anybody ever seen a turbocharged 5.8 in an F-series? I know it would require reprograming the "brain" but other than that I don't know. I have a spare turbo laying around and I'd love to get more power from the old gasser nothing extreme but a few psi couldn't hurt!;Sweet My truck is a 89 F250 by the way.

If you keep the boost down to 5-6 psi you may be able to get by with a programmable fuel pressure regulator and a bigger set of injectors. Invest in a good wideband O2 and 'street' tune it yourself.

A good friend of mine has done a few turbo conversions this way and they worked out well. Plan on spending lots of time on it though.;Sweet

speed density doesnt like boost with the stock computer. i converted a 90 mustang 2.3 to turbo from a turbocoupe. had to convert the mustang to a vane meter system so it would run correctly. best thing to do to your truck is convert it to mass air. been there done it, wish i went the correct route the first time.
