Turbo From a Power stroke on an IDI

This probably has been asked before but can a complete turbo set up from a 97 power stroke (i.e intake, hoses , exhaust manifolds and pipes , turbo and mounting plate) be used on an idi and if so could some one PLEASE answer. The reason is i have ALL the components to do the add on just not sure how to supply oil to the turbo as there is no provision on the idi block that i can see to use the stock mounting plate. If someone could point me in the right direction i would greatly appreciate it . THANKS IN ADVANCE

totally diff heads... possible to make it work but would require extensive fabrication as I understand it

X2 on that. not a bolt on affair. anything is possible if you know how to fabricate.

The only part of that that you wouldn't have to fab is the turbo itself. You'd need clamps from Ford to make the air connections, machine a manifold for the oil inlet/return, fab the exhaust and intake pipes, etc. . .Other than that it's a piece of cake.

So fare this is not looking so good any more. maybe i'll go back to my original idea of a remote mounted turbo. I say this only because i have a couple turbos from an old street rod i had so why spend money on somhing i have and just need to make it work.

Remote mounting can bring other issues.......the biggest being oil supply to and from the turbo. You may need a separate oil system to keep the turbo lubed.
