truck shuts off

yesterday my pick up shut off when i came to a stop. when i got home i gave a little thottle in neutral when the rpms came back down the truck wouild sputter, did this a coulpe more times till once i tried it and the truck againe shut off. any idea what would be causing this?

injectors, fp, ip, air in fuel? i dont know where to start

typically when this happens there are two things. One being the idle is set to low or the metering valve in the injection pump isn't compensating and catching her. Try lubing up the pump with some diesel fuel conditioner (overdose it) and see what happens.
