Towing Question

I just ordered my 2006 Ford F-350 CC SRW short bed 4x4 PSD on thursday. I want to be able to tow a dump trailer with a gross of 12,000Lbs. coventional towing. The only problem I see is that I can't use a W/D system with a pintle. So a friend of mine told me about a Draw-Tite Tow Beast hitch rated for 12,000 Lbs. without a W/D system. Would this work and be safe?

If you can find a pintle hook drawbar for the reciever that has a high enough rating it should be fine.

Another option is a rear bumper similar to MINE but you need to be sure your pintle hook is rated for the load. I have seen ratings as low as 2500 lbs trailer weight.
