Mat J
Way down south
Well I just cant seem to win on this. I bought the fax valley lumi adapter set and bought a mt1480. The mt1480 was missing inductive clamp so I cant use the fox valley set up with it. Also missing the lumi probe and the pluse adapter.
I was hoping that the fox valley probe would fit with the snap on but it doesnt.
Would it be ok to cut the wires from each lumi pick up and splice it together so the fox valley end is on the snap on meter so I can use the probe that I have. It looks like its just 2 wires on each and a shielding wire. I wont be using any other snap on probes so I dont need to worry about them not fitting.
When I put in the RPM pick up lead does it just go in the hole where the 0 mark is or the one to the right of it?
OR does anyone know where I can get the inductive pick up for the mt1480 I know the probes are really expensive and I bet the pick up is too. Or does someone have any spare parts that I could use to make mine work?
I dont really want to just borrow something I would like to have everything I need.
